As a Factory Operative, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of general factory duties including but not limited to operating power tools, monitoring production lines, inspecting finished products, and ensuring quality control procedures are followed.
Our Factory Operatives all have a flexible approach to work and can work in a quick and efficient manner.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am - 4.15pm (0730-1615) and Fridays: 7am - 1.30pm (0700-1330)

Hourly Rate:
£12.00  per hour          

Responsibilities
• Preparing pallets for dispatch.
• Basic inspection and quality checks
• Working with specifications
• Intaking goods. Inspecting and recording on good in.
• You will be happy working in a busy, fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure while being flexible to the needs of the business.
• Keep production area and factory grounds clean and tidy to a high standard.

Qualifications/Experience
• Some experience of working with wood and/ or power tools is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience of working as a General Operative, Labourer, Production Operative or similar.
• A willingness to learn and work in a factory environment.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Attention to detail with great teamwork.
• Physical stamina and strength.
