Lanark - IT Technician - £25 -28K

An established client of ours in the Technology sector are looking for a 1st line IT technician to join their internal IT department, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing for providing technical support and assistance to our team. You will be working alongside the IT Systems Manager and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas of IT support and play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our company's IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line technical support and assistance to our team in a timely and professional manner keeping users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues escalating issues to higher levels as required.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Support with IT system and network upgrades and migrations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches and antivirus scans as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software, and licenses.
  • Provide end-user training.
