Salary £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

Full-time, Permanent

Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm)

The Company

Our client’s business is about measurement, and they have been providing land and building survey information to the construction industry since their establishment in 1993. Over time, they have grown and developed to become one of the leaders in the field of Construction / Engineering Surveying where they provide Survey, Setting Out and Structural Monitoring services to the construction and property industries.

Although primarily London Based, a wide client base ensures their involvement on some of the largest and highest profile projects in the UK. They are one of the UK's largest Land / Engineering Surveying companies employing over 150 people.

They provide forward thinking innovations and have developed excellent working relationships with major contractors and clients across many sectors. They apply their advanced knowledge throughout the UK and internationally, working across the construction industry on both large- and small-scale projects.

The Role

They are looking to recruit an Experienced Land / Engineering Surveyor to be mobile and help undertake their current workload.

Primarily, the work will be based on construction projects in the Southeast region and provide Primary and Secondary Control Establishment and Maintenance, Establishing Control, Gridlines, Datums and Bench marks, Conducting As-built surveys as required and to carry out Setting Out.

You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience and be capable of working independently. Good communication skills are essential as this role will be client facing. They encourage promotion from within the company and therefore, for the right candidate, there will be opportunities to progress within the company.

The Candidate

The person that they are looking for will have a background in Land or Engineering Surveying and be able to demonstrate past relevant experience. You will also:

  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Have a suitable qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related subject.
  • Have 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Land or Engineering Surveying.

  • Be proficient with the use of AutoCAD 2D.

  • Able to show initiative, work accurately, be reliable and have good communication skills.

  • Have the appropriate right to work in the UK documentation.

  • Highly competitive salary, dependent upon qualifications and experience, and reviewed on a Bi-Annual basis.

  • Known Location and schedule, primarily London based, thereby no short notice for working throughout the country.
