Title: Landlord-Tenant Litigation NQ or Paralegal
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Competitive

About the Firm:
This firm has been serving the Liverpool community with quality legal advice since 1991. The firm has built a solid reputation for its exceptional service. The head office, located in Anfield, is dedicated to providing outstanding legal support to the people of Liverpool.

About the Role:
The Landlord-Tenant (LL/T) Department was established about a year ago to address the increasing demand from landlords seeking possession of their properties. This department, initiated by the firm’s Owner, reflects their understanding of the challenges landlords face. They are seeking either a paralegal to assist or a newly qualified (NQ) solicitor who can operate with minimal supervision. This role presents a unique opportunity to grow within the department, with the potential to eventually lead it. The Owner is currently managing the LL/T department among other responsibilities and aims to delegate it to a suitable candidate in time.

Requirements:
- For Paralegal: Basic understanding of landlord-tenant litigation, ideally with practical experience. At a minimum, appropriate legal qualifications and education related to property law and the Landlord & Tenant Act are required.
- For NQ Solicitor: Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role offers the potential for growth and possibly running the department in the future. Ambitious individuals who are willing to work hard and contribute to the department’s profitability will find this role particularly rewarding.
- Experience level: Candidates from relatively NQ to those capable of managing a small but growing department. Candidates with significant experience seeking supervisory roles may not be the best fit for this position.

Benefits:
- Generous holiday allowance
- Option for home working
- Free parking
- Professional development opportunities
- Workplace pension scheme
- Friendly team environment
- Social events and breakfast clubs
