LCV Technician

This LCV Technician role, in Maidstone Kent is 40 hours a week

I am recruiting a Multi-site LCV Technician is the Maidstone, Kent area. You will be maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles across multiple locations in the Maidstone/Kent area. This role demands a high degree of flexibility, technical skill, and the ability to manage varying workloads and environments.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in light commercial vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Travel between multiple sites to provide maintenance and repair services as required.
• Manage workload efficiently to cover all assigned locations within scheduled timelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical certification in automotive repair (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LCV technician.
• Experience working in a multi-site role is advantageous.

Skills:

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification from recognised automotive institutions (ASE certification preferred).

Working Conditions:

• Regular travel between sites is required.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions.
