A successful lender in the UK who have been praised as a top growth FinTech in Europe over the past 5 years are looking to add an individually contributing credit risk manager to their team. They have a lot of interesting projects coming through the pipeline and are offering a competitive salary on the market.
THE COMPANY
This financial institution is based in Greater London/Kent. They are a fast-paced FinTech lender who provide a secured lending product on the consumer side.
THE ROLE
The role is a data science position focused on building scorecard models
- Help implement data science and machine learning methods for forecasting, automating tasks, and analyzing behavior patterns
- Work on applicational, behavioural and collections scorecards whilst helping other areas of the business with different models
- Conduct analyses to support or uncover new initiatives, products, and business opportunities, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Proactively pinpoint business areas where analytics can offer value through insights or automation
- Continuously explore and evaluate new tools and techniques for analysis, modeling, data exploration, and presentation, proposing and implementing them as needed.
- Frequently use Python, T-SQL, and Excel for various tasks.Assist in documenting key processes and procedures.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- No ML experience needed
- Strong Python skills
- Credit Risk Modelling experience
- A strong university degree in a numerate discipline

- £70,000 base salary
