Lead Engineer
Job Description:
  • Defining the scope and specifications of MP (mass production) assembly equipment to achieve quality and delivery metrics.
  • Obtaining quotes for specified equipment from suppliers, working closely with the group purchasing team to ensure they are competitive and within project timelines
  • Work with engineering teams to accommodate the MP machinery, including; Materials movement and storage (Including waste), Services for machinery (Air, Water etc), managing SAT & FAT testing
  • Technical expert for systems and processes relating to the MP machinery

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Must have high volume / high speed manufacturing experience (Ideally mass production)
  • Experienced in delivering complex projects including machinery integration and sourcing
  • Understanding of PUWER, CE marking and other associated standards
  • APQP, PPAP & PFMEA experience
