Lead Golang Systems Engineer - Kubernetes/Helm sought by leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf.

**Inside Ir35 - 3 days a week onsite**

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer efficient, scalable, and robust code in Go
  • Lead a team of engineers
  • Build federated data-registry services which teams can embed into their applications
  • Run and maintain a set of 'centralized' registry service interoperable with application local registries
  • Design the centralized registry to be highly-available, resilient and globally replicated across all of the banks data infrastructure

Skillset

  • We do not expect candidates to have all these skills, but the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in several of the following areas:
    • Demonstrable expertise in Go, Python or other modern languages
    • Distributed ledgers / working with large, distributed hash-trees
    • Strong experience with Kubernetes, designing and deploying container-based services.
    • Experience with HELM and associated deployment technologies Proven experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to the final product Experience with middleware such as AMQP, Kafka, JMS etc.
    • Experience with data storage systems such as S3, Couchbase, Mongo.
    • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and devops engineering
