Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Legal Services

Bristol (Hybrid)

Salary: £55,000

Join our team as a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in Bristol! This hybrid role reports to the Head of Technology Services and requires office attendance at least two days a week. You'll collaborate with various technology functions, focusing on technical leadership and solution delivery across Microsoft cloud technologies assisting in delivering new and upgraded solutions.

Lead Infrastructure Engineer Technical Proficiency:

  • Previous experience in similar role with proven team leadership
  • Microsoft Server environments and Office 365 solutions including Azure Active Directory, Teams etc.
  • Microsoft Azure cloud services

Lead Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Problems: Proactive and reactive issue resolution.
  • Implement Upgrades: Work with third parties to upgrade and deliver new products.
  • Change Control: Test and deploy changes to minimize disruption.
  • Research and Recommend: Investigate solutions and provide designs.
  • Evaluate Proposals: Review third-party technical proposals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep technology current and document knowledge.
  • Lead Business Continuity: Oversee technical aspects during continuity events.
  • Plan Upgrades: Manage product upgrade roadmaps.
  • Stay Current: Follow industry trends, especially in Microsoft Azure.
  • Supervise Team: Manage 3rd line functions and team performance.
  • Report Progress: Update Head of Technology Services on KPIs.
