Lead Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of various automotive components, ensuring adherence to NMIP processes and KPIs.
- Collaborate extensively across the supply chain to optimise teamwork and project efficiency.
- Maintain detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery of current and future project milestones.
- Challenge and refine existing processes to enhance departmental effectiveness.
- Escalate issues and risks as necessary through the reporting structure.
- Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
Lead Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- MEng or BEng in an Engineering discipline.
- Experienced as a senior design engineer with 2d & 3d in depth knowledge.
- Strong technical proficiency with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with Creo and SolidWorks is required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and progressively work independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering results on time and to specifications.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am - 1pm (flexible)
