I am looking to recruit a strategic and dynamic Lead People Partner to join my Client's People Partnering team. Reporting to the Director, People Partnering, you will be instrumental in contributing People expertise to business decision-making and developing innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy. This role is pivotal in supporting organisational change, fostering positive employee relations, and leading complex change management programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner, providing specialised strategic workforce advice.
  • Line manage and develop the People Partners team, offering leadership and learning opportunities.
  • Lead on complex and sensitive employee relations cases across the organisation.
  • Support senior managers in developing long-term business strategy and workforce plans.
  • Use data analytics and industry insights to identify workforce trends and create effective people-focused solutions.
  • Influence service management teams to implement best practice people management, developing talent and potential.
  • Represent the organisation at System meetings and lead on system-led initiatives.
  • Develop and influence solutions in collaboration with internal and external partner organisations.
  • Deputise for the Director – People Partnering as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level with a Postgraduate management diploma or equivalent experience/training.
  • Chartered member of the CIPD.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of HR including employee relations and employment law.
  • Experience in partnership working with trade unions and developing HR and workforce information systems.
  • Skilled in managing highly complex and sensitive employee relations cases.
  • Strong project and change management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
