Are you an experienced Senior Practice Nurse looking to join a family friendly and supportive surgery?

We are looking for a highly skilled Practice Nurse in the Shrewsburyarea, to join a trusted purpose-built surgery on a part-time basis. The surgery is offering32 hours per week, worked from Tuesday-Friday, and a competitive starting salary of £21.60 per hour, negotiable dependant on experience.

This is an amazing opportunity for a local Senior Practice Nurse that wants to join a hard-working team and close-knit team. In this post you will be leading a team of 4 Practice Nurses, and a Healthcare Assistant so experience in supporting a team and managing rotas is preferred. The surgery is trusted by approximately 6,000 patients and is based in a purpose-built building with on-site parking available.

The surgery operates using Emis Web so experience with this IT System is preferred and experience in Infection Prevention Control is required.

Skills needed:

• Independent Prescriber,
• Cytology,
• Baby/Travel Immunisations,
• Chronic Disease Management - Diploma is preferred
