Lead Software Engineer / Developer

A brilliant opportunity for a Lead Full-Stack Developer who has a strong background in leading and managing junior Developers while overseeing the building of applications using React in an agile environment, to join an industry-leading software house in Milton Keynes. This role offers the chance to lead a team spearheading user-centered design and iterative development, while delivering cutting-edge software solutions.

Location: Milton Keynes, hybrid working

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum + bonus + benefits (depending on your level of experience)

Requirements for Lead Software Engineer / Developer

  • Prior experience in a role where you were managing or leading Software Developers
  • Solid commercial experience using React within a front-end/full-stack role (this role is predominantly managerial but some coding will still be required)
  • You're keen on progressing in a software leadership role
  • It would be beneficial if you have knowledge in C# or Golang
  • Any experience in working with micro frontend architectures or on cloud infrastructures would be beneficial
  • Previously worked in agile environments
  • Strong collaborative communication skills

Responsibilities for Lead Software Engineer / Developer

  • Lead a team of Developers
  • Oversee the design, build, and maintain applications using react
  • Work within an agile environment
  • While this role is predominantly managerial you will also write clean maintainable code
  • Engage in code reviews
  • Proactively propose new solutions based on your industry knowledge and from staying up to date with the latest trends
