Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Hackney. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• To lead, monitor, optimise and continuously improve the delivery of software components
• Provide technical expertise needed to explore CMS platform options for the organisation's website
• Forms part of a wider website discovery project, exploring transformative improvements to enhance the user experience and maximise the website's value
• Establish, guide and grow the technical architecture and frontend communities of practice
• On a rota basis act as the lead officer ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of support to users

The candidate:

• Ideally educated to bachelor degree level and / or holds a relevant professional qualification
• Excellent Wordpress CMS knowledge
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Experience working in a similar role within the public sector is desirable
