Our client is a global Industrial Manufacturer based in Skelmersdale.
Description
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives across the facility
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve operational issues
- Work closely with management to define and achieve strategic objectives
- Lead projects to reduce waste and improve quality
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to lean manufacturing principles
Profile
A successful Lean Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- Experience in implementing and improving lean principals in a manufacturing site
- A degree in Engineering or a related field who can read drawings (CAD desired)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train staff
- Can work under pressure and is keen to learn and is proactive
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
