Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Location: Birmingham, hybrid

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning and Development Coordinator to join their team. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them develop skills and confidence for their future. Providing comprehensive engagement programmes and tailored training, this role requires someone who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role:

As a Learning and Development Coordinator, your primary focus will be devising and delivering structured programmes of both formal and informal training. You will work closely with the L&D Manager to develop comprehensive training and engagement programmes.

  • Devise and deliver structured programmes of training and education
  • Work closely with the L&D Manager to deliver comprehensive engagement programmes
  • Develop and maintain external relationships with local training providers, organisations, and employers
  • Support on design of peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes
  • Identify and support volunteering opportunities
  • Take a strengths-based approach to facilitate teams and residents identifying their talents, skills and build their self-esteem
  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures

The candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Learning and Development Coordinator role is someone who has proven experience in devising and delivering structured training programmes. You should have the ability to work closely with other team members to deliver comprehensive engagement programmes. Experience in designing tailored training programmes is essential. Strong relationship-building skills are crucial for this role as you will need to develop partnerships with local training providers, organisations, and employers. Experience in supporting the design of peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes would be beneficial.
