As a Learning Disabilities Manager in Chesterfield, you will be at the forefront of creating a positive and nurturing environment for both people we support and staff.

To be Successful as Learning Disabilities manager you will:

  • Lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of respect, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and personal growth
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support is provided.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Drive staff development through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Act as a role model, embodying the values of empathy, integrity, and excellence in care provision.

As a Learning Disabilities manager, you will need:

  • Proven track record of managing services for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework governing care services.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience in developing person-centred care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay abreast of best practices in the field.
