Learning Support Assistant ASAP Start
Do you have experience in supporting children with additional needs? Are you seeking a full time role to start as soon as possible?
Empowering Learning are seeking a learning support assistant to begin work as soon as possible. The school is a specialist SEN school and the role would be based across KS1 and KS2
The hours of work are 8:30-3:30 and the role is Monday to Friday.
The main duties within the role are:
- Building relationships with pupils who are unable to access mainstream education
- Providing academic support to children working below age expected levels
- Liaising with senior management around progress of the children
- Providing pastoral support to the children in the setting
- Calming down situations where challenging behaviour may arise
The school are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with SEN pupils
- Is available to begin work immediately
- Can build strong relationships with the children
- Is a great communicator
- Has a good sense of humour! (It Helps)
