Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt support strategies as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Support students with their social and emotional development, helping them to build confidence and independence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults preferred.
  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Location: Warrington, with easy access to public transport links.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
