Learning Support Assistant - Haringey

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at a small SEN school in Haringey. We are currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant for a long-term supply role. This school specialises in supporting children facing social, emotional, mental health, and learning challenges, particularly those diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and attachment difficulties. The student cohort, aged 4 to 11, thrives in a nurturing educational environment.

Position Details:

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Duration: Long-term supply basis

Location: Haringey

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Term time only)

Competitive Pay: £85-£95 per day

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH

Proficiency in managing challenging behavior

Experience providing support in both 1:1 and group settings, with an advantage in interventions or mentoring

Preferable background in a small SEN school environment

Collaborative work under the guidance of the classroom Teacher, including preparation and planning of daily learning resources
