Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant seeking a full-time, long-term position in a primary school local to you?

Tradewind have partnered up with an exceptional primary school based in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The school are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support an SEN child in a reception class on a 1:1 basis.

This high achieving school have excellent facilities, and fantastic support for SEN pupils, as well as training for new staff supporting SEN children. The school is judged to be OUTSTANDING from their most recent Ofsted inspection, and continue to strive for brilliance in all areas.

About the role:

  • Support a child in a reception class on a 1:1 basis
  • You may be required to lead planned intervention groups
  • Work in line with the pupil's EHCP, ensuring goals are met
  • Provide general support to the rest of the classroom when required
  • Encourage the child to develop a love of learning

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential
  • Good understanding of EYFS curriculum
  • SEN experience is ideal
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
