As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with a student who has Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements in a 1-2-1 support role.

We are looking for someone who is able to start from September 2024 and is looking to continue for the next academic year.

  • Support the child during lessons and help them to achieve their academic goals
  • Build a strong relationship with the child to establish trust and promote emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to provide regular feedback on the child's progress and learning
  • Use a variety of strategies and techniques to support the child's unique learning needs, such as visual aids or sensory activities
  • Ensure the child's overall well-being and development are always prioritised
  • Be reliable and committed to the role, working full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Have previous experience working with children who have SEND requirements in a 1-2-1 or small group setting
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Be passionate about making a positive impact in a child's education and overall development
