Role and Responsibilities: As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care needs, where required.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
  • Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is a plus.
