Are you currently looking for temporary Learning Support Assistant roles?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate and nurturing Learning Support Assistants for a number of day to day, long term and potentially permanent vacancies within Hampshire.

We at Reed Education Southampton currently run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, working with over 500 schools across the whole of Hampshire. We are currently supporting a number of schools with their recruitment needs for September, and a large number of LSAs are expected to be needed to support within schools.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children within a small group or on a 1:1 basis, working with the class teacher to provide tailored support to your assigned pupils. You will bring a positive, nurturing and professional manner to the role, and have excellent patience with young people.

The salary for these roles are currently paid as £12.83 to £14 per hour depending on experience.

For these roles, you will be/will need:

  • DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or LSA desired
  • SEN experience desired but not essential
  • Good availability and flexibility
  • Keen to provide excellent support within a school local to you
