Learning Support Assistant - Birmingham
Do you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant within a special educational needs setting? Do you have a love for helping children engage with learning? This lovely special school is looking to add a kind, compassionate and committed Learning Support Assistant to the team to support a small class of children with complex learning need. Staff are friendly and supportive, children are happy, and leadership are committed to making a difference, this is a lovely school in which to work.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be providing tailored care and support for children with a variety of needs, every class is so different, and the school will find the perfect class for you to utilise your skillset effectively. This role requires previous experience working with special educational needs and ideally you will hold a level 3 Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant qualification. Job Role:
  • Supporting on a 1-2-1 basis within small classes of children with additional needs
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
