Lecturer/Assessor in Electrical Installation

  • Annual Salary: £32,455 to £45,260 (including London Weighting)+5K Supplement

We are seeking a Lecturer/Assessor in Electrical Installation for our Technical Apprenticeships School. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about education and industry development. The position involves assessing apprentices both on-site and in the workplace, as well as playing a crucial role in the design, planning, and delivery of educational programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assess apprentices on site and in the workplace, ensuring a high standard of learning and achievement.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks related to apprentices' progress and programme delivery.
  • Liaise effectively with employers and college staff to ensure a cohesive educational environment.
  • Deliver a range of programmes related to Electrical Installation.
  • Actively participate in the design, planning, and delivery of schemes of work and lesson plans to meet educational standards and industry needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • Experience gained within the Electrical Installation industry.
  • Some teaching, training, and/or assessing experience in a related field.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire apprentices in both practical and theoretical aspects of Electrical Installation.
