Lecturer in Animal Management

• To deliver high quality teaching and learning by providing students with a planned learning experience, managing the learning process, guiding and supporting learners.
• Acting as personal tutor to a group of students and to provide pastoral care.
• To provide assignment and assessment material appropriate to each specific programme.
• To ensure effective co-ordination of curriculum involvement in all college activities as appropriate
• To evaluate and assess the work of students in relation to the curriculum criteria.
• To produce schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with current best practice.
• To set and assess work and provide opportunities for student feedback.
• To engage with the management team to ensure high quality teaching and learning occurs.
• To work towards and exceed, if possible, individual achievement objectives and success measures for your groups, becoming familiar with benchmarks and other measures of success.
• To attend programme area meetings and to contribute to the continual quality improvement mechanisms.
