Key responsibilities
In this Brickwork Lecturer job, your responsibilities will include:
Job Purpose:
Teaching practical and theory elements of the level 1 and level 2 bricklaying qualifications to new and returning learners.
Teaching apprentices at level 2
Associated admin tasks.
Supervising/Directing
Eg, people at work, maintaining a presence, ensuring compliance with regulations, acting leader, giving instructions, administering tests, emergencies etc
To promote and implement strategies within teaching and learning sessions that support students with differentiated learning needs in addition to embedding numeracy and literacy.
To report safeguarding incidents to the designated lead or school safeguarding champion as appropriate.
Skills & experience
Education/Qualifications
Level 3 in Bricklaying (essential), relevant teaching qualification (desirable), assessors qualification, IV qualification (desirable)
