Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Rugby
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum
Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a reputable construction business in Rugby. This role is a temporary to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a dynamic team within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your primary duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger Management: Managing the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and reconciling supplier statements.
  • CIS Experience: Handling all tasks related to the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
  • Month End Reports and Reconciliations: Producing accurate month-end reports and performing thorough reconciliations.
  • Supplier Account Management: Managing key supplier accounts to ensure smooth transactions and effective relationships.
  • Professional Communication: Ensuring all internal and external customer communications are undertaken in a business-like and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a purchase ledger role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) experience is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
