Role – Legal Administrative Associate  

Location – Manchester City Centre

Salary  - £11.44 p/h

Type – Permanent

Hours - Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5:30pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm

Reed are currently working with a well-established solicitors in Manchetser who are looking to recruit a Legal Administrative Associate on a permanent basis to join their growing team.

General Overview

The client is looking for enthusiastic and eager candidates with a great attitude to join the Client Services Team. It is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work in a growing team, making a real difference to clients and the business. 

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to begin or further a career in litigation.

Main duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working closely with the call handling and legal team to support clients wishing to progress a claim with the firm. You will need to deliver a positive client experience, and great first impression of the business. The successful candidate will use guidance, skill and judgment to triage those claims with the support of senior members of the team.

Role Requirements

  • Ensuring claims are processed in a swift and efficient manner by obtaining relevant documentation, and carrying out KYC and AML checks where appropriate
  • Setting up cases on proclaim
  • Collating data accurately and effectively
  • Dealing with incoming emails
  • Triaging and quantifying cases
  • Regular communication with the call handling team and legal teams
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when dealing with any enquiries, or sensitive information obtained as part of the role.
  • Working closely with the legal team to progress the litigation of the team
  • Carrying out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team

  • Always maintaining a professional and responsible attitude as Achieving results as part of a busy team
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload accordingly to ensure work is completed within a timely manner
  • Communicating effectively with a wide variety of people 
  • Accurately recording information onto our systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially aware
  • Confident with Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Goal orientated with a strong desire to improve and succeed 
  • Based in Manchester and fully office based
