This full-service international law firm wish to hire a Legal Cashier to join their large London based Accounts department.

Salary of up to £45,000

Agile working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Liverpool St and Bank station

The Legal Cashier will report directly with the Cashier Manager and primarily focus on client account cashiering as well as support to the wider teams, using the 3E system. The Finance team are a busy close-knit group, highly organised and proactive and require someone who is a team player and able to assist with wider duties and busy times such as month / year end.  They and are keen to consider strong all rounded legal accounts professionals with a strong knowledge of VAT and Solicitors Accounts Rules able to work to multiple deadlines and case completions.

Legal Cashier Responsibilities Include:

  • Client payments & receipts
  • Client to office account transfers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Counsel fees and expert fee invoices
  • Residual Client account balances
  • Processing land registry, court fee, congestion charge, and other ad-hoc matter related statements
  • Dealing with fee earner queries and requests
  • Managing designated deposit account deposits and withdrawals
  • Interest calculations
  • Ad-hoc projects

Legal Cashiers Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years solid track record as a Legal Cashier working for recognised law firms.
  • A strong up to date knowledge of SAR and VAT regulations
  • Elite 3E or Aderant experience as well as confident Excel skills
