Excellent opportunity for a lawyer to join this in-house legal team, taking on a broad mix of corporate and commercial work.

You will be part of the legal team in the UK, working from the head office of a highly successful international business.

You will be responsible for delivering commercial and legal advice across the world. You will report into the General Counsel, also UK based and work closely with management across all areas of the business, you will advise on a variety of legal and commercial affairs across the group.

The role will include:

  • Structuring and negotiating M&A and other commercial transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and major client agreements
  • Advising on related commercial, intellectual property, real estate, employment matters and intra-group structuring
  • Working either autonomously or in multidisciplinary teams, it is essential that you are commercially astute and are capable of managing risk, with the ability to resolve complex matters involving multiple interests
  • Able to quickly gain the trust of stakeholders through the ability to advise in a calm and diplomatic fashion
  • You will be a UK qualified lawyer with at least three years' post qualified experience gained from a leading law firm and/or a similar international company
