An award winning law firm are currently seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) to support a partner within their OL/PL department. The ideal candidate must have legal secretarial experience. An audio typing speed of 65+ wpm is preferred. 

Job Description:
  • Prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing.
  • Handle filing and client file management according to office procedures.
  • Manage mail and appointment scheduling, including fee earner diaries.
  • Provide professional client support in person and over the phone.
  • Assist other secretaries and the administration team as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of firm and client information.
  • Uphold excellent client care standards and contribute to the 4-service promise.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
  • Legal secretarial experience, ideally in personal injury
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Strong command of English language
  • Excellent word processing and audio typing skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
Desirable Criteria:
  • Familiarity with Proclaim case management system
  • Audio typing speed of 65+ words per minute
  • Experience with court forms and pleadings
  • Proficiency in digital dictation, preferably Big Hand
