Legal Secretary/PA, Residential Property

Up to £30,000

Leatherhead (KT22) Full-time, Office-Based

The main role of the PA is to provide direct support to enable fee earners to operate at optimal efficiency. The PA role is pivotal in ensuring fee earners operate efficiently. You will utilise self-management and initiative to support the team in delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with matter creation, progression, and closure using case and practice management systems.
  • Prepare correspondence, transcribe digital dictation, and update workflows.
  • Support the Residential Property department.
  • Complete online form filling, including SDLT forms.
  • Prepare and submit Land Registry forms (AP1, UN1, RX1, etc.).
  • Schedule appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain fee earners' diaries.
  • Guide junior and temporary secretaries.
  • Maintain high attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Secretarial qualifications and excellent typing skills.
  • 2+ years' PA experience, including residential property.
  • Independent client matter progression.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to quality.
  • Prior knowledge of conveyancing and compliance/AML.
  • Familiarity with Practice Evolve or other management systems.
