A local and respected law firm in Walsall are looking for a legal secretary to join either of their Child Care or Matrimonial department.

The hours for this role would be 9am-5pm and this would be in the office based. The salary for this role would be £23k.

The duties for this role would include providing the best support to clients for the fee earners by:

  • Assisting and supporting with Legal aid applications
  • Assisting with drafting of documents including correspondence and briefings
  • Full diary management for fee earners
  • Accurate audio and written dictation
  • Time recording in accordance with the firm
  • Answering and responding to email/telephone correspondence
  • Liaising with professionals
  • Progress billing procedures

It is essential to have a least 1 years’ experience of child/care or public law matters and be computer literate with fast and accurate audio typing skills.
