Legal Secretary

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly professional Legal Secretary to join a prestigious global law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support a busy team of lawyers in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail
  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Maintaining electronic filing systems and client records, and supporting document management processes
  • Assisting with time entry, expense processing, and administrative support as required
  • Providing cross-functional support to legal and administrative teams, including coverage during staff absences

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of two years’ legal secretarial experience, ideally within a professional services or law firm environment
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and legal terminology
  • Proven ability to type at 70 words per minute, with high accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using legal practice management and CRM systems
