Experienced Legal Secretary - Criminal Law

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Job Type: Full-Time

A nationally recognized law firm specializing in criminal law are looking for a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team.

They are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a strong background in criminal law to support their legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling criminal cases and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to solicitors specializing in criminal law.
  • Prepare and format legal documents
  • Manage and organize case files and legal records.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances, and client consultations.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in a criminal law setting.
  • Strong knowledge of criminal law procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
