GRG are supporting a leading law firm based in the heart of Birmingham, known for their commitment to excellence and client-centric approach. Their dynamic and dedicated clerical support team is seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Team Administrator to support their Office Manager and ensure the smooth operations of the office.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in the Birmingham office, with working hours between 9am - 5.30pm.

As a Legal Team Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the firm. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including welcoming guests and clients at the front of house, handling legal administrative duties, and managing paper filing. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who can anticipate needs and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests and clients, ensuring a professional and friendly reception experience.
  • Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Manage and organise filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Handle legal administrative duties, including document preparation, correspondence, and data entry.
  • Pre-empt responsibilities and take initiative to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
  • Support the legal team with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in legal administration, as a Legal PA, Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator or as a Legal Assistant is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
