This is an office based role

The Company

One of the largest franchised property groups in the UK, supporting a network of 439 offices across six distinct brands, our client specialises in residential lettings, property sales and property-related financial services.

They are members of the Property Ombudsmen, National Approved Lettings Scheme, and part of Safe Agent. The Birmingham Central office are an award winning agency with ESTA awards won in recent times and established in Birmingham City Centre for the last 15 years.

Job Dimensions

The Residential Team provides an unrivalled service for the sale and letting of a wide range of property, from City Centre apartments and homes in around Birmingham . Each property is handled by all staff you are experienced to a very high standard and the lettings and sales agent have the expertise, knowledge and experience of the local market.

Job Purpose

The Lettings Administrator will be required to deal with the day to day management of properties within the Residential Lettings portfolio, including a wide range of quality properties from one bedroom apartments to family homes.

The requirement is for a proactive, versatile and self-assured individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion following specific instructions. Where necessary, training will be provided. The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, able to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining an excellent customer service at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Daily liaison with tenants & landlords

Dealing with questions, and providing updates.

Conducting and processing Credit checks for applicants

Having eye for detail and updating personal data on in house systems

Taking calls and dealing with general enquiries

Updating of specified areas of the property management database

Arranging inventory check in and out reports.

Any other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

Preparing the key release for move ins, Tenancy agreements, standing order mandates and right to rent checks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Good standard of general education (numeracy and literacy).

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including Word

Strong typing skills.

Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative.

Good team member with a flexible approach to work.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
