Due to company growth, Kenny Recruit have partnered with an ambitious, high quality student accommodation company to find a Lettings Manager on a permanent basis. Moving from a start up to a scale up, our client recognises that the quality of student accommodation and the service that they are provided with, can make or break a whole experience. Having recently expanded into Lincoln; the plan is to become nationwide. Their approach is to mix top class service with hotel standard accommodation.

This is a unique and incredibly exciting opportunity to take the reins on the annual letting process for the area's leading provider in luxury student houses. You will be a key member of the team supporting the business in its ambitious and expansive growth phase. This is a role that requires excellent communication skills, keen problem-solving abilities, exemplary customer service skills and tenacious drive. The successful candidate will join a hard-working, fresh team, who have the passion to help push the mission of continual growth and mission of the company, to become one of the leading student accommodation providers in the UK. Ideally, you will bring fresh ideas, you will have some former lettings management experience and some experience of student lettings. As well as a passion for delivering high quality service and be goal orientated. Your role will be to take full responsibility for the annual letting of the portfolio. There is an opportunity to share in the success as the business continues to rapidly expand, by being eligible to be part of the long-term incentive scheme.

Pay: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + bonus (dependant on experience)

Location: Lincoln - 5 days per week in the office

Working hours: 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Managing 1 x direct report (Lettings Negotiator)
  • Manage the sales process end to end
  • Marketing houses via portals
  • Project manage and assist in the staging of professional marketing photos
  • Creating adverts, whether this be on spare room, Instagram, Facebook or looking at other ways of reaching a target audience
  • Handling advert responses
  • Receiving and responding to enquiries
  • Negotiating rents
  • Managing and organising our student ambassadors and lettings negotiator to carry out viewings
  • Conducting some viewings
  • Carrying out property inspections
  • Arranging contracts and move ins
  • Updating systems, documents and general administration
  • Using the property management software to deal with maintenance issues
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure that work is completed to a satisfactory level
  • Ensuring safety certs are up to date
  • Striving to keep maintenance costs down
  • Working closely with the marketing department to come up with ideas to help build the brand
  • Helping to streamline processes
