Minimum 3-Month Contract
£17.68 - £22.59 per hour
Our client, a housing organisation based within Staffordshire, is looking to recruit a Lettings Officer on a 3-month temporary contract
Daily duties of the Lettings Officer consist of:
- Ensure vacant properties are let efficiently, in accordance with the Lettings Policy and procedures
- Assist in ensuring the Housing Register is accurate and up to date by accurately assessing Housing Applications from applicants seeking re-housing
- Deliver a local housing advice and information service for people in need of rehousing
- Ensuring properties are terminated and tenants are advised of legal rights
- Updating, assessing, and maintaining Housing registry applications
- Allocating vacant properties accordingly
- Pre-tenancy checks and assessments
- Referring tenants to ensure tenancies are sustained
- Working to minimise re-let period of voids
- Responding to complaints
Essential experience of the Lettings Officer:
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (or able to complete)
- Previous experience working within Housing or Lettings
