Hourly rate: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 & 3 Early Years Practitioners for both long-term placements & day-to-day cover across multiple nursery settings in Preston. Successful applicants will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that support children's development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different nursery environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
