We are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our vibrant team in a unique bilingual nursery setting in Hackney. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in an environment where both English and German are spoken. While it is not required to speak German, an openness to the language is essential. The nursery operates all year round, offering a dynamic work environment for passionate childcare professionals.

• Provide high-quality care and education to children in a bilingual setting.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in both English and German environments.
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Be flexible and adaptable to work on a shift basis between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
• Support the nursery’s ethos and contribute to a culture that values diversity and bilingual education.

• Must possess a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
• Previous work experience in a childcare setting is essential.
• Comfortable within a setting that speaks and teaches children in both German and English.
• Flexible and adaptable to shift work, ensuring the smooth running of the nursery.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to childcare and education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
