Childcare Practitioner
  • Hourly Rate: £12 - £16.50 (depending on experience)
  • Location: Ealing
  • Job Type: Part-time, Permanent. September start
  • Hours: 20 hours per week (Term time only)

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join our team across multiple locations in Ealing. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early childhood education and a Level 3 qualification in childcare. The position offers a balance of classroom interaction and administrative responsibilities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Engage with children in a classroom setting for 14 hours per week, providing high-quality care and learning opportunities.
  • Perform administrative tasks for 6 hours per week, contributing to the smooth operation of the childcare setting.
  • Work hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays could be from 8:30am to 11:30am, and on Fridays the hours could be from 8am to 3pm. 
  • Admin hours will be scheduled outside of classroom hours.
  • Set up and pack away equipment and materials, requiring a good level of fitness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
  • Experience in early years education is preferred.
  • Good level of fitness to manage the physical aspects of the role.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing classroom and admin responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
