Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant - September 2024 Start
Empowering Learning are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within an SEN Provision in Burton on Trent. Successful candidates will provide dedicated 1:1 support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the individualised attention and assistance they require to thrive academically and socially!
- Location: Burton-on-Trent, Primary School
- Position: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant
- Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and assistance to a child with special educational needs
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of the student
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of special educational needs and experience implementing appropriate support strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools)
