Ryder Reid Legal is working closely with a US law firm to recruit a Paralegal to join its Private Credit/ Leveraged Finance team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with closing - preparing signing packs, co-ordinating signing and completion.
  • Assist with filing and transaction document management.
  • Liaising with opposing counsel, overseas counsel and running conditions precedent processes
  • Support lawyers with updating of precedents, legal research, pitch documents and responses to tenders as requested.
  • Help to maintain knowledge management resources, ensuring the resources are properly organised and accessible.
  • Undertake searches and other routine enquiries (i.e. Companies House).

The successful candidate will have prior transactional experience, ideally gained from a similar law firm environment and be happy to work long hours as overtime will be required frequently - all overtime is paid for in addition to the base salary. Hybrid working is also on offer!
