Licenced Aircraft Engineers - B1

B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers opportunities working on corporate & Executive jets on both day and night shifts. The opportunities run on a 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off shift. (you get more weekends). You must have Embraer or Bombardier types.

Visa sponsorship & relocation expenses possible - stated pay range to include shift premiums and type approval bonuses. Additional pay available for dual licensed engineers.

As a Licensed Engineer (B1), your primary responsibility is the day-to-day maintenance of aircraft and management of projects. You'll ensure that all maintenance activities are certified according to current privileges, maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Your focus will be on customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key points:

• Team Leadership: Lead a team of mechanics and engineers on maintenance activities and projects.
• Commercial awareness: Drive the team to meet financial, commercial, and engineering targets, looking for efficiency improvements where possible.
• Communication: Communicate daily progress through written reports and meetings.
• Hangar Coordination: Collaborate with hangar management on progress, manpower, and third-party requirements.
• Support Services: Work with support services for spares procurement, repair, and technical information.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality monitoring of scheduled and non-routine work cards.
• Shift Handovers: Ensure smooth transitions between shifts and departments.
• Customer Interaction: Liasing with customers.

Key requirements:

• Full unrestricted 'B1' license.
• 'A' and 'C' licenses.
• Embraer or Bombardier types.
• Highly organised with effective resource management skills.
• Leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Recognised Apprenticeship.
• Engine ground run approval.
