I am currently representing a highly respected global insurer with a universally recognised brand. Based from prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering corporate insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the Northern region.

My client is looking to attract a development focused Commercial Underwriter to join their experienced Life Science team. Focusing on underwriting packages business for the Life Science sector, your role will involve dealing with premiums typically in the region of from £10,000 to £100,000. Working with a diverse panel of independent as well as national brokers you will demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships, writing business for profit and continued growth of the account.

To apply for this role you will have experience in Property & Liability underwriting, preferably with exposure to mid- corporate risk. Essentially you must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to and be committed to professional development
