Life Science Import Operative

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Import Life Sciences person for a well-esbalished niche sector freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.

Job Purpose (Full Training):

• Handling logistics compliant to MHRA and GDP guidelines
• Manage and control temperature controlled consignments
• Booking in of shipments
• Create delivery notes
• Ensure the Job File is fully and accurately completed reflecting all commercially relevant information and services provided
• Liaise directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise
• Liaise directly with branches on shipment planning and coordination
• Manage the timely movement of shipment documentation to London Customer Services
• Experience of HMRC procedures essential.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience within Administration or Customer Service
• Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to follow processes.
• Ability to support a culture of continuous improvement.
