Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce that we are working with one of our high-profile clients to appoint a Lift Repair Engineer in the Hertfordshire area on a permanent basis.

Job Title: Lift Repair Engineer

Salary: Competitive plus Company vehicle & on call / call out (Night call 7 days pm)

Hours: General business hours potentially more as and when necessary

Location: Hertfordshire areas.

In this role you will be responsible for repairing passenger lifts. Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure health and safety regulations are met, produce risk assessments reports and legal insurance documents.

The key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Always adhere to company’s H&S policy and procedures
  • Carry out lift repairs and upgrades to all types of lift equipment
  • Commission and test to provide optimum component performance
  • Provide detailed reports and feedback on tasks completed and lift status
  • Generate sales leads for additional works as required
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Liaise with the Regional Manager to highlight site issues and suggest solutions
  • Undertake surveys and provide detailed information to sales team for quotation purposes
  • Demonstrate professionalism and portray the company’s image in the best light

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering or equivalent
  • The ability to read and demonstrate understanding of schematic/wiring diagrams
  • Willingness to travel and participate in 24 hr call out rota
  • Full and clean UK Driver’s license
  • Must be computer literate and able to utilise various software packages
